Christian stewardship consists of three distinct, equal components: time, talent, and treasure. The gift of time recognizes and celebrates the wonderful gift of life. The gift of talent recognizes all physical and mental abilities with which the Lord has blessed us. The gift of treasure includes all financial resources we earn by using our time and talents. This form is not about your financial obligations but rather other areas where you might be able to help and build up the kingdom of God.
Below are some opportunities in different ministry areas where you can serve the Lord. As you think of your Spiritual gifts, Talents and Passion, please pray, discuss with your family and dependants, and then tick any areas of interest that apply to you (even if you don’t have the time right now to do it). Don’t be afraid of ticking an area for fear that you are burdened with jjob for ever. You will simply be indicating an area of interest.
The life of stewardship recognizes each parishioner and their unique gifts as strengthening our relationship with God, and at the same time, influencing the larger parish and world community. Above all this acknowledges that everyone is valuable in some way, however small, and all are engaged in the ministry of evangelisation to which the Lord calls us.
